Grape variety: 60% Refosco, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc Venezia Giulia

Soil: sandy, clayey.

Vines per hectare: about 3,600.

Raising method: Guyot.

Harvest: manual, end of September.

Winemaking: the fermentation occurs using selected yeasts at the temperature of at 80-82 ° F (27/28 ° C)with maceration of ripe and destemmed grapes within 12 to 14 days.

Maturation: in steel barrels for 30 days, ageing in oak barrels for 14 months.

Colour: intense red with a tonality of red ink.

Aroma: full-bodied, lingering, and delicately spicy.

Taste: robust, adequately tannic, and spicy.

Ideal with: roasts, stewed meat, game and all elaborated red meats.
Best served at: 65-68 ° F (18-20 ° C).

Uncork 1 hour before drinking.

Alcohol content: about 13.00%
